An additional asbestos service now provided by First Order Red is asbestos fibre discrimination. This UKAS accredited asbestos test allows us to take asbestos air monitoring one step further and discriminate between non-asbestiform and asbestiform fibres in a standard airborne fibre monitoring sample.
First Order Red is the first UK company to be UKAS accredited to perform asbestos fibre discrimination by light microscopy. Our innovative technique, developed by our in house R&D team, allows us to identify and count asbestiform fibres whilst still on site removing the need for slow, expensive electron microscopy. This revolutionary asbestos air monitoring test provides cost efficient results but most importantly offers quick reassurance and piece of mind.
First Order Red is accredited by UKAS and undergoes rolling
mandatory and voluntary re-inspections as part of this
