Many of our customers ask ‘what do we do if we have to work with or around asbestos?’ The safe removal or repair (remediation) of asbestos containing materials requires specialist knowledge and the use of trained contractors. First Order Red offer asbestos project management services to customers who want to independently ensure their licensed asbestos removal contractor achieves a successful result.

First Order Red holds a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) supervisory license which allows us to take control and supervise the safe removal of asbestos. As independent asbestos consultants working on behalf of the client our only job when supervising asbestos removal is to ensure that the job is done right. Our team of HSE supervisory licence holders are all experienced in asbestos project management and making sure our customers get the safe asbestos removal job they are paying for.

Typically, asbestos project management can include:

• The full range of asbestos management services, from basic analytical support to full supervisory control.
• Specification and tendering of works.
• Contractor assessments and tender assessments.
• Contract liaison with CDM co-ordinators, Principal Contractors, sub-contractors and client representatives.
• Full ‘single point’ removals whereby the full extent of the works is delivered directly by First Order Red.
