The implementation of HSG 264 requires all UKAS accredited inspection bodies to change the way they report and communicate with their clients. First Order Red has used the implementation of the new guidelines alongside feedback from our customers to improve the way we deliver our services.

Improved Survey Planning: Before starting a project it is essential that both the client and the consultant understand 'what needs to be achieved, how long will it take, and what will it cost?' Clear, concise planning and communication is the key to successful asbestos project management. From the start of June 2010, First Order Red clients will be involved in the production of a single 'Contract Review' document for each and every asbestos project (no matter how big or small).

Streamlined Project Tracking: In implementing HSG 264 First Order Red has taken the opportunity to streamline the report tracking process. Starting with the contract review process, each asbestos project is traced digitally through the scheduling, delivery, analytical, reporting and quality control processes. With the result being that our clients can contact us at any time to track the progress of their project, helping to ensure that projects stay on time and on budget.
