James makes it to the London Marathon finish!
On Sunday 25th April James set out to complete the final 26.2 miles of a journey he started over a year ago. He was running to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and to say a big thank you to the Cardiac Care teams in Mansfield and Nottingham for their tireless work helping people manage and recover from heart disease in Nottinghamshire.
When asked about the day James said, 'Firstly, thank you to everyone who sponsored and supported me. I can't emphasise how much it helps knowing that people are willing you on to the finish. It was an amazing experience with amazing highs and amazing lows.' When asked would he run it again he said 'Err, yes, maybe... why not ask me again when my legs stop hurting!'.
100% of the money James raised is going to help support the British heart Foundation.
